CHRISTIAAN JARVIS – Managing Director
Christiaan has twenty four years background in Financial Services Sector, he has worked for a number of Local and International Banks, in both a Senior Management Roles and Consulting Services, prior to spending around four years working for an International Software company, that provided Treasury Systems to Banks.
In 2004, Christiaan started his own firm to source and arrange funding for Commercial & Residential Transactions and since then has also worked with a number of Companies before starting his latest venture Agora Capital Corporation late last year.
Christiaan has a strong understanding of the requirements to structure and arrange Debt and Equity Solutions, as well as providing consulting services through his professional network.
MICHAEL BECKER – Partner
Michael holds a law degree from the Auckland University Law School and after twenty years in private practice in Auckland migrated to Australia and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland.
Since 2002 Michael has operated a litigation management business, which has in more recent times expanded into litigation funding, with a strong focus on class actions based on statutory remedies for breach of duty, misleading and deceptive conduct and breaches of continuous disclosure obligations by listed entities.
BILL HAWKE – Rural Consultant
Bill has had over 40 years as a practical farmer specialising in cropping and sheep meat production, including feed lotting and specialised marketing. He has held Directorships on Government Boards and a number of Companies. He has keen understanding of agripolitics, along with extensive accountancy qualifications.
Bill has a deep understanding of the rewards and risks in the agricultural sector and can assess both financial and production viability.
RENATO STURMA– Business Development Manager
Renato has over 30 years of Banking and Finance experience working with a major Australian Bank, Mortgage Managers and a Contributory Mortgage Fund.
He is able to assist with all finance matters with a specialty in structured finance assisting property developers.
Renato will be our dedicated Business Development Manager servicing Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia
ANDREW DUNCAN – Business Analyst
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience specialising in forensic accounting and transaction services.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accountancy and Finance, a graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment, and Masters’ of Applied Finance and Investment. Andrew was accepted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a Business Valuation Specialist and has also completed a Forensic Accounting Specialisation with Macquarie University.
Andrew Formerly worked in private practice for HLB Mann Judd Chartered Accountants and two other specialty forensic transaction specialty firms for 20 years. Andrew’s specialist skills include business valuation, financial investigations and transaction facilitation, financial modelling, business, turn-around management and systems review and implementation.
